I have a little info on an older Edward Stapleford but this one seems to
be younger. The older Edward Stapleford seems to have married a Mary
Stewart/Stuart. The Mary Stewart seems to have been the widow of Joseph
Spencer, the daughter of John Stuart, and the granddaughter of William
Robinson. I have that they would have married by 1773. I presume that
this is not the one you are looking for.
