Hello all,

I am new to the list and I am having some difficulty in finding information
on the above surnames. I found these in a hand written copy of the family
bible. The surname of CHAPMAN I have been able to find in the Accomac
county court house (Virginia) but was unable to find any or the others which
leaves me to assume that they may be from Maryland instead. The town that
most of my CHAPMAN family comes from is right on the Virginia/Maryland state
line.

Questions: Does anyone know what the county for Maryland next to Accomac
County would have been for the early to mid 1800's. If I don't find them
there where should I look next? Do any of these names connect with any of
yours?
