Hello All!

I was wondering if anyone out there had any information on the Hutchison,
Grier, or Pell families. They would have been around the Milford Delaware
Area in 1820' and 30's. My 3rd Great Grandfather was John Grier Hutchison
born Feb 17, 1828. As of yet I have not been able to find out who his
parents were. I suspect that his mother might have been a Grier, hence the
middle name. The Pell connection is an odd one. He moved to NJ at the age of
13, ( the Camden, NJ, Phila, PA area). His family plot shows 8 Pells buried
in plots he purchased. Strange? Not a one of his children ever married a
Pell. The first burial in the family plot was a Pell, 1857. Then intermixed
with Pells and Hutchisons at various dates throughout 1860's on to the
1900's. One of the buried Pells owned a candy store around the corner from
where he lived. It might have been that John was orphaned at a young age
and one of his aunts married a Pell (his father's or mother's sister?) and
was raised by her family? Just hoping, any help appreciated.

Tom
