Hello
I have a copy of a deed (purchase) dated 16 Sep 1865, and recorded 7 Feb
1866. At the very end, in what appears to be a different script is
something like "estate ec'd and mailed to E.S. Toadvine 10/13/23" - which
would be 1923. What does this notation stand for. An adjoining piece was
sold by the seller between 1851 and 1865 to Purnell Toadvine. I believe
that there are many researchers and descendants of that (Toadvine) family.
In a planned June visit to Salisbury, I will try to find the sale.
thanks
