I looked around my files and found MESSICK recorded often in the "Calendar of
Sussex County Delaware Probate Records 1680-1800 Compiled by Leon deValinger,
Jr.".
Thirty MESSICK family members are recorded in this reference book. An entry for
Isaac MESSICK follows:

MESSICK, Isaac. Planter. Will. Made March 31, 1779. Heirs: wife Ann Messick;
sons Covington, John, Luke, George, Nehimiah, Joseph and Isaac Messick; daus.
Bethany Messick, Sarah Easom, Alice Beavins, Ann Owens, Constant Dolbee and
Priscilla Mooney. Exec'r, son Covinton Messick. Wits., Levin Connaway, Reuben
James, Spencer Benson. Prob. April 28, 1779. Arch. vol. A88, pages 108-109.
Reg. of Wills, Liber C. folios 331-332.
