Here I am again looking for the illusive Warrington Family. I am hoping to
reach some one out there who may know of Elijah H. Warrington. He was born
about 1813 in Delaware according to the 1850,60,70 and 80 census records of
Sussex Co. He was married to a lady named Hetty A. b about 1821 also in
Delaware. In the 1850 census he was listed as E. H. Warrington living in the
11th Sub Division family number 559. By the 1860 census it was called Little
Creek Hundred. Elijah and
Hetty had a large family the oldest that I know of is :
1.Mary b. Mar 1840 who married a Cornnin or Cornith and had a son named
Raymond.
2. Benjamin B. b 1844 who became a school teacher.
3. Sarah E. b 1847
4. George H. Warrington b May 1849 who married a Mary E. Parsons (Parsons ?)
5. Edgar Leland b 1852 md. Mary Elizabeth Perkins--I'm researching this line.
6. Laura E. b 1854
7.Joseph F. b Mar 1856
8. Arnina (Annie) b 1859
9. John b 1863
10. Mearion (male) b 1865

I believe that Elijah may have had 2 brothers. In the 1850 census there was
a Edward D. Warrington age 31 living with him and a household away was a Levin
Warrington age 24 living with wife Mary age 18 and son William age 3 months.

All listed as being born in Delaware.

Edgar Leland Warrington had a son Francis Cannon Warrington who married a
Sarah
Hazzard.

Thank you for any help you can give. I know this is a long shot, but also
know that
there are many of you out there who are willing to help people like me who
are looking for family. For this I commend you and thank you.

Sincerely
Pat Scherzinger
