Hi
I am new to this list and am looking for and hoping for a lead on the
surnames of Burge and Firth.

My great grandmother was Virginia E. Burge. She was born about 1835 (not
sure where but have been told to look on the Eastern Shore). She married
Charles Thomas Firth in the 1860's around the time of or during the Civil
War. The records for Elizabeth City County are missing. Any info on this
family would be welcomed.

Also looking for Thomas Firth. He was in York Co in 1840 with a wife and
two sons. If anyone has any leads I will be grateful.
