Subject: [LDR] ?Adventures of Purse & Person?--Primary Source

Hello Everyone,

The source for one of my lines that is in various places on folks notes on
the internet is probably "Adventures of Purse and Person". Is that book
considered a primary source for genealogical purposes??

It has a line of descent that suggests my gggg grandfather John Baugh began
having four children at age 56, based on guardianship records by a second
wife apparently. It well could be correct, but for my concern that there
was more than one John Baugh in Henrico/Chesterfield Co at the time, and
there already is trouble sorting out a whole gang of them about 30 years
later in the 1770s.

I guess I'm real uncomfortable with it.

Thanks in advance,

Janet Hunter
