Hi Rooters,

Someone was looking for information on the Custis family, I don't
recall the first name, but here is the information I have on one family:

James Brittingham. Died 1845. Married Sallie Custis, lic. Wor. May 12,
1817, (2) Ann Bayler (Merrill) McMaster, lic Wor. Sept 17, 1839(no
children)

children (all by (1)Margaret Elizabeth Custis bc 1821, living with
sister Catherine in Costons 2534 in 1860, listed
as idiotic.
Catherine bc 1824/6, married Thomas Lambden, lic
Wor. Jan 19, 1846
Edward James Custis bc 1828/9, married his cousin Mary Jane
Brittingham lic. Wor. June 26, 1860
children:Florence bc 1862
Edward J. bc 1864
Cecelia A. bc 1867
William M, bc 1869
Oscar F. bc 1872
Harry M. bc 1874
