Needless to say, this type of message is not welcome on the LDRoots list.
We really don't have a lot of trouble with chain letters and the like, but I will take this opportunity to just
reiterate the types of messages to avoid sending to the list:
Anything that is related to genealogy *and* the Delmarva Peninsula is fair game. NOTE: Short one-time commercial
messages advertising services or products are allowed if they are of particular interest to the group. But please, no
email spamming. Searches for living persons are not allowed.<BR><BR>
Don't post large messages
Don't post binary files (ie: MS Word or other text files, zip files, etc)
Don't post searches for a living person
Don't post flames (angry, nasty, petulant, snarky, sarcastic, or otherwise-not-nice notes)
PLEASE NOTE: If you find that you are receiving messages
from another listmember which are making you uncomfortable,
on or off of the list, please let me know
Don't post copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or the copyright allows for redistributionDon't post virus
warnings.
Don't post e-mail chain letters of *any* kind.
