Good Morning Rooters:
Once more it is a beautiful day here on the Eastern Shore--closest
thing there is to Brigadoon. Hope this finds all well. As always, just
wanted to let you know that we have finished another volume of Rent Rolls
for Somerset County. This volume is the Additional Rent Rolls, and includes
all tracts that were surveyed and/or Re-Surveyed in Somerset County from
approximately 1753 to 1789. Again, the work contains, acreage, amount of
rent assessed, tract name, date of survey or re-survey, for whom the tract
was surveyed, in those cases where it is a re-survey, the original tract
name, and what tracts it was composed of, and date of patent. In those
cases where applicable, also conveyances of the land including date, to
whom, from whom and acreage.

Among the surnames listed in this volume are the following: Adams,
Bailey, Ballard, Bell, Brown, Collins, Cottingham, Cottman, Coulbourn,
Dashiell, Daugherty, Disharoon, Dorman, Ellis, Evans, Gale, Geddes, Gillis,
Graham, Handy, Hayman, Hayward, Henry, Hith, Hopkins, Horsey, Huffington,
Jones, King, Long, Maddux, Miles, Moor/Moore, Polk, Pollett, Records,
Reddish, Scroggin, Smith, Standford, Taylor, Tilghman, Turpin, Venables,
Ward, Waters, Wheatley, Williams, Willson and others. As always the volume
is $18.00 and if interested give us a holler.
