1850 Census for Dorchester County lists John Bassett age 15 in the h/h of
William Lewis, 26 farmer wife Rebecca 27, son John 2. that is h/h 546 Dist. 1
part 2
in h/h 552 there is Nancy Bassitt 50, Mary 7, and Thomas 9
in h/h 1136 is Josiah Basset 30, farmer and Ritzy Basset 50
In Dist 3
h/h 118 -Washington Bazett 45, Laborer, Emila 30, Roseann 4, Martha 2,
That is all I can find in Debra Smith Moxey's book 1850 Census of Dorchester
County Md.
