I would like to see Gen. Robert Lawson, listed as one of those who are being
studied. He was with the Va. Militia, after being with the Va. Line. He was
LT. Col. at Valleyfordge and resign there, went back to Va. and was
commissioned Brig. Gen. of Va. Militia. Fought at Guilford Court House in
Carolina with National Green, I think they lost that battle. After the war
he was commissioned to do a study of the conduct of the war, did this work at
Richmond. That's about all I know. Was from William and Mary County I
believe. Anyway you might tell them about him and see if they even know of
