Subject: [LDR] Whittington Family Motto

Although I have been researching the Whittington family in Maryland and England for many years, I have never paid much attention to Heraldry.

But, now my eleven year old son is doing a school project on Heraldry and wants to use the Whittington Coat of Arms. ( He is slowly getting the Genealogy bug himself). I have the Coat of Arms of Robert Whittington, brother to the famous Dick Whittington, but, he needs the motto that went along with the arms.

I understand the rules of Heraldry, that these are not our Arms, this is merely a project with a family attachment.

I appologize to one and all if this is deemed off topic.
