Hello Listers,

Will of John Goddard was written 28 Sep 1760 in Somerset Co, MD. Mentioned in the will are "dearly beloved son, Francis Lane Goddard"; "beloved son George Goddard"; "youngest daughter Sarah Goddard"; "grandson John Goddard"; and "beloved wife Sarah." Also mentioned is a tract of land called "Day's Beginning" lying and being in Somerset county on the branches of Broad Creek. Witnesses were: William Robison, John Robertson and John Williams. Would like to hear from descendants of this family. Looking to find the spouses names for all those mentioned. Was John Goddard's wife named Sarah Lane?
