There is a Cokesbury Church in southeastern Somerset near Dividing Creek and
the Worcester Co. line.
Thanks,

Subject: [LDR] Cokesbury Church and/or Cemetery
Hi All!
Recently I recieved information that my ggggrandmother was buried in a
Cokesbury Church Cemetery in February, 1854. She married James Jonathan
Moore, who farmed in Somerset Co so I assumed that the cemetery would be in
that county - somewhere. A helpful local pointed me to a church and cemetery
along what is now Rt 404 in Sussex Co DE (once part or Somerset) but, she
wasnt there.
Internet yellow pages and other searches have turned up negative. Perhaps
the name was changed, or the church structure no longer exists...? Does
anyone have any clues as to where I may find this Cokesbury Church and/or
Cemetery?
Thanks in advance for ANY info!!
Laura Leigh
