Unbelievable! I was seriusly proposed to when I visited my older married
sister in NC in 1955. I was just beginning my teenage years - "proposer"
was 30. Dad, a northerner, was sorry he ever permitted me to visit NC.
Fortunately, all went well, and I turned him down. So much for the olden
times. Marriage still occurs early in some areas.

However, still keep looking for info on my Cox's which never occur.
