Looking for Information on a location described as Center Meeting on the
banks of the Brandywine Creek which is where my ggf was born on 3 Sept 1856.
A search on google turned up nothing. His name was David Burris Edwards, son
of Elias and Susanne Crosley Edwards who I'm trying to track down also.
Captain Dave as he was known was skipper of cargo sailing vessels and fishing
steamers during his early life and later was custodian of the old Queen Anne
Pier at Lewes for more than 42 years. More info than you need to know, but
this is what makes the search so appealing to me. TIA.
