Subject: [LDR] Worcester Co. Prerog Crt Recs on LDS film?
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="iso-8859-1"

I am hoping someone more knowledgable than I can assist me. I am trying to
figure out if the Worcester Co., MD court records refered to in an abstract
are available on LDS microfilm, and if so, which one. Guidance on
alternative ways to view the original documentation would also be
appreciated. I have viewed most of the Worcester Court records for the
mid-late 1700's that are available on LDS film in the past, but wasn't
looking for this specific record then, and the descriptions in the LDS
catalog that explain which records are on which film are difficult to
understand, at least for me.

I found a reference that might involve the family of my ancestor James Lingo,
on a CD entitled, Genealogical Records: Maryland Probate Records. I don't
have the CD myself---the reference was sent to me. I need to check the
original source documents. This is what I have:
Longo, James Prerogative Court Abstracts, 1744-50, page 132
LIBER 27 Folio 84 A, Worcester County. Appraisal L118.15.11 Approved
L16.1.11 Aug. 21, 1749.

Thanks!
Juli Claussen
