I know you were being facetious regarding 'conversion to Presbyterians'
referred to above. Was this a reference to some particular Quakers? Or a
general conversion movement in 1830s?
I missed the beginning of the discussion and got lost in the maze of
different types of crowsfoot, as well as judicial/political stuff.
To top things off, I have a son-in-law in CA named - John Herold - (Message 7
same date) - Austrian extraction post WWOne.
I would like a reply on the Quaker-Presby. conversion. Several Quaker
Hastings families in PA may have drifted south to 3 lower counties.
