Take Rte 50 south from, say Easton. When you get to Vienna, turn
right and follow the road along the river for 18 miles.
It's truly the back of beyond in a place, the Eastern Shore, with
many backs of beyonds. However if you love marshland it's very scenic.
The store is still there but abandoned with fire damage, if it's the
one I'm thinking of. We looked at a house on Elliots Island last year.
There is a book about the place, recent too, called "Elliot's Island
- The Island [or Land] that Time Forgot"
