Good morning Tony and All:

I am very interested in where in Accomac yourfolks -- the Hudsons, Mayos, and
Hatchers had land/homes -- if I read his post correctly. There are some
Baughs over there in the mid to late 1600s and I can't figure out if they are
my Baughs in Henrico, with "vacation" or other plantations there. (Yes, I do
know that in the past some of you have told me that my use of the term
"vacation" home on the Eastern Shore for well-to-do families in the
1660s-1680s doesn't fit with the times, plus who would vacation on a mosquito
infested marsh anyway).

But the purpose of this note is to suggest to Tony, that you might call the
Klamath Falls FHC and ask if you can send in an order for microfilmsfiche
with the $$$$ to them and they will order it. When it arrives you go there.
This would eliminate your ordering 80 mile roundtrip journey....except maybe
the first one to pick up the forms. I know that I asked the Long Beach CA
FHC if I could send them $$ and order forms from Virginia, and they would
order them, and they would be there when I arrived (am helping my mom at the
moment). That FHC said yes, they'd do that. I didn't order anything because
I went to the NC State Archives for four days (pure heaven, plus cheap $.10
per page from originals you hold in your hands and they copy for you so you
don't have to worry about centering, light/dark, etc.) and have more than
enough to keep me busy.

Just a thought. FYI, Mayo/Hudson/Hatcher -- I have lots of cousins for all!

Janet (Baugh) Hunter
