Hi,
I need help proving who Reverend Henry White's father was. Chip
White has posted on Worcester County Maryland Gen Web site that
Southey/Southy married Ann is the father of Reverend Henry White.
Here is what I have on Southy:
63. John6 Parker (III) (John5, John4, George3, John2, (-----)1)(61730) was
born in Accomack Co, VA circa 1687. John died 1754 at 67 years of age.(61731)
He married Frances (-----) circa 1710.(61732) Frances was born circa 1690.
John was living 26 Jan 1720/1 in Accomack Co, VA.(61733) John's will was
probated 25 Aug 1754 in Accomack Co, VA.(61734) In his will, written 25 Aug 1754,
John Parker Sr. named a wife Frances; sons John, Robert, William, Anderson and
Edward Parker; and daughters Frances White, Susannah Wise, Ann Lacey, Rachel
Boggs, Betty Guy and Bridget Parker. Children not to have any part of their
estate without the consent of their mother. Wife Frances Parker to have use of
whole estate during her widowhood. Wife and son Robert Parker executors.
Witnesses were David Neilson, Francis Boggs, Sacker Parker, and Southey White. In
order of probate John Paker as heir at law to the testator and Frances Parker
qualifed (Acc Co Wills, 1752-57, p. 261).
My whole family says Southey is the father of Rev. Henry White but no one
seems to have proof.
