Subject: [LDR] Isaac Mason d 1742/3 Kent Delaware
Date: Sun, 7 Dec 2003 21:02:35 EST
In a 1912 publication of the Pensylvania Genealogical Society, Vol 5 No 1 pg
110 Mar 1912 is the family record of an Isaac Mason who married (1) Susannah
Roe, widow of David of Joseph late of Dublin, Ireland, and (2) Ruth unknown;
The children with Susannah were:
Joseph b 1722; Eleanor b 1725; Isaac b 1728; Abraham b 1730; Jacob b 1732;
by
second wife Ruth: Josephus, Elias b 1738, and Elijah;
I believe Eleanor, Josephus and Elijah to have died young.
The record comes from a Bible found in the area of LEWES DELAWARE.
Here is the will of Isaac Mason of Kent Co DE, transcribed from a copy of
the original from the DE Archives ; he mentions his youngest son
from his first marriage and his surviving son from his second marriage. The
other sons are not mentioned in the will, but are found in land and
apprentice
records. Please contact me with any information on this family.
His dwelling plantation was on the Mispillion River in Kent, DE in Saw Mill
Range.
