Am new to the list so please correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding
is that Wicomico County was formed from both Somerset and Worcester counties.
Division Street, that runs north to south thru the center of Salisbury was
the actual dividing line. Anything east came from Worcester county and
anything west of Division Street came from Somerset county.
