Charles, The info Howard Dickerson has
was compiled by my 2nd cousin Judie.
Hester Figgs, Gillis Figgs Sr. daughter
was our GGGrandmother. She married
William Thomas Middleton and they
resided most of their lives in Derrickson's
Crossroads (Pittsville, Md.) If it will
be of any help from some of the info
that I have the Figgs were from
Littlecreek Hundred in Delaware, which
borders on Broadcreek Hundred to the
north. On the Hundreds map the line
between these two hundreds seems to
be a creek or stream of some kind. And
from my little knowledge it looks like it
branches off the upper Nanticoke river.
I hope this helps.
