John,
Thank You! That was an amazing explanation!! And I think you might be
right on "the land where Elizabeth now lives," because the first John Reddish was
married to Elizabeth Crouch. So this is new thinking on her.

Some have thought that this Elizabeth might have been Elizabeth Johnson,
widow of Samuel Johnson, but believed daughter of Alexander Fullerton. So, this
has been the hard part - the Crouch, Reddish and Fullerton families
intertwined by marriages and land. Widow Elizabeth Johnson in 1753 married Hiron
Reddish, son of the first John, but perhaps there was some other marriage
connection between Reddish and Fullerton at an earlier date. What are the chances
that this was her? Seems less likely as why would she be listed, or singled out
as "now living" on this land, when married to Hiron Reddish - but then, I
have no death date on Hiron, one of many who apparently died intestate.

Thanks so much for the information, it provides many more clues, and
definitely more organized thinking!
Susan Curelop
