Roger,
Here are the children's names of Enoch's sister Rebecca POORE BURRIS
EDW. & Matilda BURROWS (later BURRIS) had at least 13 children.
(lst b. 1856 last one b. 1878)
Mary F.
Sarah
George H.
Edward "Ned"
Thomas
Matilda
Elizabeth
Florina
Maggie
Clarence (was Lewis Clarence)
Addison ....my grand father
Elizabeth
Mary B.

Note: There was also one named Gretta or Gertie that is not listed. She may
have been one of the above and was known by her middle name. My Aunt told
me that she used to stay with her sometimes in the summer.

Rebecca & Edward later lived with one of their daughters in Wilmington, DE.
I found their addresses in the Hall of Records in Dover, now know as the
Delaware Archives. Interesting family.

Jean Deford Poore married Samuel Lisby 1 Jan 1799. I believe Mary Jackson
Poore died between 1860 and 1870. I thank you for all the other information.
I would also like information on your heritage (Rebecca etc).

Hello Roger,
The names that you sent me of the POORE siblings are the same ones that
I have in my files.
For the record....here are some additional facts.

Thomas DeFord POORE was the son of Henry POORE and his wife Jane/Jean
DeFord.

Thomas's wife was Mary JACKSON and I think her mother was a BARRETT from
Kent Co., DE

I show that Enoch J. POORE married Mary TAYLOR in July 1874. Do you have
the same info?

Other notes in my book show:
Mary (Jackson) POORE married a LUSBY later.

I show that Enoch's sister Elizabeth married Nathaniel S. PRATT. Hannah
married George MOORE, Rebecca married Edw. BURRIS, (nothing on Sarah) John
T. POORE married Catherine HOBBS and nothing on Benjamin POORE.
