I do not know William Bernard Lowman born 26 Nov 1842, however the name
certainly might indicate a relationship.

I am attempting to follow all the German Lowman immigrants in hopes of
connecting with my own. One of the immigrants was Jurigh Bernard Lowman
a.k.a. Jerg Bernhart Lowman, Bernhardt Lowman, and Barnard Lowman. He was
born in Wurtemburg, Germany cir 1700 and died in York Co., PA, bef 21 Mar
1770. He immigrated 27 Oct 1738. The name appears later in Chillicothe, OH,
and Augusta Co., VA.

Hope this helps. Do you have any information on the ancestry of your William
Bernard or his siblings?
