Was your grandmother affectionately called aunt DODE (sounds like "ROAD"). If so, she is my ggreat aunt. My GGGgrandparents were Francis "Frank & Jane Abrams" thier son was John Henry. Do you know what happened to Frank an d Nora,ANNA Lynahun's daughter Alice? was she a daughter from a previous marriage of Anna Lynahun's with a Mr. Henley? She seems to disappear after 1880 census listing her at the age of 17, born 1834. Note: Anna and Francis were married in 1835. A Jerome and William were born before this marriage also. I suspect maybe all 3 were Anna's as Tom and Turner Lumley were Nancy Beckerman's. My grandpa George, married to Mina went to Canada almost yearly to visit relatives per my dad's memory. Sometimes they would drop him off at his great uncle Malcolm's for the summer of about 1956 and 1957. If you have info on Alice (Hinley?, Henley?, Lumley, born 1834. Please contact me.
