James William Sperry
The death of James William Sperry, a well known and highly respected
citizen, occurred at his home on Wednesday afternoon, Feb 13th, after a
long illness, borne with Chrisian fortitude, and in his, seventy-third
year. Mr Sperry was a painter by trade and for years received a well
merited share of patronage.
Surviving him in the immediate family are his wife and daughter,
Jessie, at home, also two step-daughters, Mrs Annie Creelman of Boston
and Mrs Paddock of Wilmington, Delaware. The funeral was held on Friday
afternoon, Rev. A.B. Higgins, his pastor,
officating, with interment in the family lot in Petite Riviere cemetery.
