They should look at their own "Settings"; I understand they now
have a setting for "send text files as: "attachments" or "text".
It should be "attachments".

IF the file transmitted witout any errors;
IF you copy only the GEDCOM portion; and
IF you have a carriage return at the end;

THEN
Paste it into a word processor OR text editor;
Save it as a DOS TEXT or ASCII TEXT file - NOT as a Word or
WordPerfect Document! (They put in a bunch of special characters
if saved that way!)
and RENAME to xxx.GED.

EASY! (Yeah, right!)
