Terri -
My two statements do not contradict one another. Unsolicited
*does* mean unasked for. As per my entire explanation of the RWR
newsletter -- read in its entirety -- you *did* ask for the
newsletter by becoming involved with RootsWeb. Again, use a
RootsWeb service = get a copy of the RWR describing the services
you are being given to use. With the cable company I am not given
a choice in receiving their newsletters or brochures. At least with
RootsWeb we are given the choice to unsubscribe from the RWR if we
choose not to receive it. We were given an introductory issue which
explained the purpose of RWR and made us all aware of its creation
- much like a sample of a new magazine.
