Hi!

I'd like to pass on something I've done to get more subscribers that
have worked pretty well. I've used the search engines (doing a search on
the surname of interest), then wrote to anyone doing genealogy on that name
and invited them to join the list. That works well with and query boards
too... look through the GenWeb boards for states where you know the family
lived, then writing a private message to anyone researching your name.
Also, do a PML search on your names through Rootsweb... never know where
those families will pop up. Don't forget the competitors, too... ;-) Good luck!
