I am not in authority but to me it was simple. The differences of the
freebies is in the money. I contribute - rent - donate - whatever you want
to call it for my services I receive from Rootsweb.

It was the responsibility of Ancestry to invite us to sign up for their
offer. We each did receive a personal email. So if your people did not get
an email and an offter they didn't get the perk of us DONORS. I got a year
free that was added on to my account.
