If this has been asked and answered already, please excuse - Joan, are all
the boards going to be put in the correct place? If not, they might as
well be shut down, IMHO.
"My" ECAR (East Central AL Research), Castle Gardens (point of entry before
Ellis Island, in NY harbor), Jewish-Roots and Slaveinfo boards are all
grouped under "RootsWeb Topics and Special" along with a SC and KY and NM
and Hungary one, and Quaker-Roots, Melungeon, BlackSheep and WGWKids, etc..
The locations boards obviously have an appropriate place to be other than
this, so that folks who wander in to the section for the state or continent
or whatever can find them and use them - why are these not where they
belong? Can they be put where they belong? Can the "religion/ethnic"
ones be so designated so that they can be found?
"RootsWeb Topics and Special" doesn't tell squat about what is in that
category - if this is truly a merging of the RootsWeb and Ancestry boards,
why do these all have to be lumped together under "RootsWeb Topics and
Special" rather than put in an appropriate, findable place?
