The only one that can remove a post from the list archives is a staff member.
I understand it's a complicated process and not undertaken frequently or
lightly. Posters that ask for their posts to be removed are sometimes blocked
from ever being able to post again on any Rootsweb list. When we, as admins,
ask, the same thing does not necessarily apply..... about being blocked,
that is. But it is still not done at the drop of a hat :-) With all the new
stuff happening, I would magine that staff is stretched rather thin at the
moment.
