Kurt, the point here is that the RW AUP says that you're not allowed to use
your lists/webpages/boards to make money personally.

They don't say "unless we get a slice", they say *not at all.*

That it's an Ancestry affiliate rather than, say, an Amazon affiliate only
specifies that Ancestry gets a piece of the action: the *purpose* of an
admin wanting to put it on their list posts is to *provide cash to the admin
for doing so*.

That's commercial activity on the part of the admin, any way you slice it.
