I have insufficient information to have a reasonable opinion about whether
the banned person deserved to be banned, or whether he was extremely
provoked. I do not know whether the list admin who posted the "warning" is
doing a good job or not. I do know this; I am every bit as offended by the
supposedly "cleaned up" forwarded message as anyone on that list might have
been about the original. It's just like "beeping out" an expletive on
television while allowing anyone who isn't stone blind to lip read.

Should the list admin who posted the forward be banned from LISTOWNERS? I
don't know that either, I'm not the LO admin. Frequently glad of it, too
<grin>. But I do know this -- this is my only comment on the situation. For
which our own indefatigable list admin is most likely equally glad.
