Dear JSR:

I am forwarding your message by way of my response, to
the List Owners List. It is much better that you have
benefit of the wisdom and support of the others and
not rely on just private mail. Mostly we don't bite,
so don't be bashful. <g>

The list addreses are not case sensitive. I generally
will only capitalize the L to allow others to see at a
glance that it is an "L" and not a "1" (one).

I think that your confusion continues with regard to
prepends. They are working. Take our word for it. :)

I can appreciate your frustration. You are not required
to continue administering any lists if you do not feel
comfortable in doing so. It is nice to offer list members
the first crack at adoption in the event that someone is
willing and able and maybe even awaiting the opportunity
to do so. However, it is not necessary that the subscribers
be the only selection pool for administration of the list.
Many folk admin lists they have no connection with.

If you truly do not desire to remain as a List Administrator
at this time, you can turn the list over for adoption. It
seems you may be at this point.

However, if you feel that you would like to continue but
need more indepth or rudimtary assistance, then perhaps
you would be advised to participate in the Newbie listowners'
list.

Maybe you have bitten off more than you can chew at the moment.
I am unsure if you can subscribe to the Newbie List Admin list
to observe and learn while not being an active admin. However,
that might be another alternative if you are feeling unprepared
to do administration, but want to learn more to take it up later.

Joan can respond to those questions -- I think I recall hearing
she is the Newbie admin list listowner, but I may be mistaken.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS: - Could this be the problem the small
l rather than the capitalized L?
Also, I don't type in caps very often. It is just that I am quite frustrated over this
problem to the point that I wish I had not signed
up to administer this list quite frankly. I have tried to offer this to ANYONE on the
list. JSR
