Index mode is like digest mode or list mode: you pick the mode you want to
be subbed under, and you completely ignore that other modes exist.<g>

We're not talking here about tacking I mode on lists in general, just this
one, and it's not really aimed at folks who are currently on the list, but
at the ones who fuss because they don't manage to get information that's on
the list, but don't want to wade thru the list as a whole to find it.

In other words, it would pretty much be an additional bunch o' bodies, not
the bodies currently here in L or D mode.
