Whether that wording is grammatically correct or not, it is awkward enough
that I think it should be changed (probably a better topic for the LD list)
because it certainly has been a topic of discussion many times among list admins.
I'd actually like to see the message state: Your address (address inserted
here that has been subbed) has been added...etc.
My reason for wanting to see the subscribed address added in there is that
there are quite a few people who send a subscribe request from one address but
have a different one in their REPLY TO line and SmartList will inevitably sub
the REPLY TO address. This is often NOT what the subscriber intended and they
may not realize until later on that this has happened.
If the email address were included in the body of the welcome letter (which
they haven't yet tossed in the trash <g>) they would know immediately that they
need to unsub the one address and resub sending from the other one.
