I live in Florida and can tell you this has been the largest evacuation in
Florida's history according to the news. Much of the East coast from West
Palm up to Daytona and inland to Tampa are with out power as we speak. The
Orlando, Melbourne area's were hard hit. Keep in mind that even though the
hurricane is now a tropical storm and in the Gulf, strong feeder bands /
squall lines are coming across the state and they are bring tornado's with
them. According to FEMA no utility vehicles will be out to try and repair
lines until the danger has passed. This could be why so many lists are
quiet.
