Subject: Exclamation point self-control -- please?

I often get access to my e-mail via the Web, while I am on breaks or lunch, at work. As best I can figure out (I am the backup network admin, with access to the filter rules) the firewall and anti-spam servers there have recently blocked my Web Mail site because of messages containing too many exclamation marks in a row. It's a Catch-22; I can't delete the messages that prevent site access until I get access to the site. And I can build up quite a backlog of mail in a 14- or 15-hour work day away from my home computer!
One or two consecutive exclamation marks are fine as an expression of surprise, joy, or intensity. Based on that criterion, some recent messages to LO would have to be reporting that Hitler's clone had just detonated a nuclear bomb at the world's largest facility for making anti-HIV drugs.
