I know I just took over an abandoned list, but I am already getting a
lister
disagreeing and berating me in private email with how I should and
shouldn't
be running the list. After I explained my reasoning with the best interest
of all listers, I also told her if she was going to be rude cause she
disagrees, she shouldn't bother voicing her opinions by private email to me
as I
wont stand for it. She now feels she can threaten me by listing her
negative
opinions to the list instead of private email...which wouldn't concern me a
bit
honestly.

------
Whether it bothers you or not isn't the point. It's disrupting to the list
topic and upsetting to other listers and should be stopped ASAP. Put her on
the Reject list. That way, her posts to the list will bounce to you as the
admin. and you can then decide whether her posts are on topic for the list
subject or just flames to you. If her post is on topic you can send it on to the
list. If it's not, then you just delete it and go on about your business. Take
away her audience and her behavior should improve. You can also put her on
your AOL filter to block her email from being received by you privately.
