If you go to adopt a mailing list and it is not available (the message
will be along the lines of "this list already exists), then it is
odds-on that someone has adopted it after this post being sent and your
request. If the wanted list still shows as being adoptable (check via
the full listings) the next day, then this would indicate a problem,
which I would appreciate if you whould report to the HelpDesk,
