Dave-

In order to answer that question we'd need to see the actual bounce (with
full headers) that you received. There are quite a few possibilities and among
them...

1) the subscribed address is slightly different from the address on the
bounce
2) there is forewarding going on between the subscribed address and the
address coming back to you on the final bounce
3) the bounce is delayed and is the result of a message sent to the list
prior to the bouncer bouncing off the list.
4) the bounce is the result of an unsub and the address is no longer on the
list.
