This happened to me with my ISP.
But it was not rootsweb that was blocked.
It was the text -==
Some words we use in genealogy could not make it to me.
Yahoo was not blocked either, but the ( text was) certain words or adds ( in
the message) would get dumped so for a while they gave me an unfiltered
address, now they dont have that server any more and I am back to filtered,
but I ask them not to filter inside my messages for those certain words/adds
etc. I was told there is no way they will change any thing for any one and
thats that.
Now I wish they would because I would rather have the pop mail, I did
try Google and any one who uses it can see how it can fouled up filtering
lists and criteria.
Having message filters is about ad bad as blocking because I still dont
get part of my mail and even tho I pay $56 a month for service it is still
limited , I found out how much by using my gmail to pop my list mail to this
address, wow I got a lot of bounces.
So then I knew what was going on.
I showed them,
they told me their opinion;
and we are still getting bounced
for certain messages.
I quit the Virus list and some others, but at least now ( Middlesex) dont
get bounced so something changed a little.
