Yvonne,

I was concerned that lists9 would be added to the Comcast Black List, I have
two people so far that I know of, that has received messages from Comcast
saying they have been blocked from sending mail to me and have been reported
as Abuse or spam. This is on Comcast's end of things not mine. They cannot
even make it to the "screened mail".
Both of the people that were added to the list have been sending me mail for
a long time, they both contribute items for my county websites. But now they
are no longer able to do it.
When I spoke with Comcast today I asked exactly what the two people did that
would cause them to be added to the list so I can prevent it from happening
in the future and she couldn't tell me. She just said before sending a
message to large groups of people, please send the message to
/ and she acted like multiple emails to me
needed to be sent through that email address too. The two that were blocked
were not sending to multiple people just me. So that made me think it was
the amount of times they sent a message in a period of time. And if that is
the case then as many emails come through Rootsweb it would need to do the
same thing too.

I thought someone else on LO said Comcast was starting to block Rootsweb
too.I am just wanting to make sure my lists don't get blacklisted once they
are on the new system! <G>
