You're correct that the SOURCE is important, but I think the source that
should be cited for
census lookups is the Roll No., township, county, page, enumeration district
-- not if
the information was obtained from ancestry, heritage quest, genealogy.com,
purchased
census CD's or a trip to the local NARA.


I'm familiar with the IGI and familysearch.org, but not with the others
that
you mention. It looks like they are FREE resources, but
I think we're referring to online resources that are accessed by a paid
subscription and they
have an Acceptable Use Policy that we must agree to when we subscribe.
